@CapitaineNautilus Russia did not care to get into Bakhmut. The reason they didn't give Wagner more ammunition was exactly that. Wagner went in, but overall, there was no need for it. Even now the Russian army didnd't move into Bakhmut - for what?

I mean, Russia got around 2000 D20 howitzers alone... Let's say they destroy 2 a day for example then they are done with it in ~3 years.

Helis aren't that expensive. Mil Mi-28 costs around 15M, production will be even cheaper, so around the price of two patriot missiles or second hand leopard tanks.
