@dennisg1460 If NATO attacked the Moskva, it just shows how incompetent the generals are, because it was the absolute most useless target for that single shot they got. An almost half a century old ship that didn't even take part in the SMO. The USA lost double as big and half as old ships to fire - and that right in their homeport.

@napoleoncanio4996 Sure - problem is that you have to go against dozens of missile batteries, which are protected by anti air cannons and so on, creating a layered network of anti air, where you can't just fly to point A and destroy all with some missiles.

It's a funny idea, that Russia needs the navy. They got artillery, missile artillery, tanks, infantery with all kind of weaponry, drones, ECM, helicopters, bombers and other ground attack jets and of course on top of that also the fleet. It's all of that combined.

@DoctorChained Russia easily hold Kherson city with the giant disadvantage of a 100m wide river in their back. They stopped it, when the Nazis started to attack the dam, so the city had to be evacuated anyway, what made it pointless to hold such an awful position. Now that river is the disadvantage of the Nazis.

Moskva wasn't eh main ship. It didn't even took part in the SMO. It's simply the oldest ship. So old that it was borderline out of comission and the replacement already in build. It's a sentimental loss, nothing else.

@MyTakeOnLife001 There is simply not 100% defense of everything. While this is annoying, the attack meanss nothing. Russia is destroying such oil tanks day in and out and Ukraine is still not running out of fuel. Oh, great, sometime an attack comes through. No repeat this thousands of times and you may have a start.

Those missiles can be shot down, too. And they got lower range than for example S-400. What do you want to attack? You do get, that this is massively layered and you don't have the time to dig through these layers. When you want to attack the ships for example, you have to fly deep into tha anti air area and get in range of dozens of anti air units - which, as said, can also destroy your missiles.

@DoctorChained Child, first, look at the map and how much territory Russia took and made a fortress out of it. Second: warfare isn't about a territory, it's about destroying the enemies army. Russia got no need to push: It liberated and secured vital parts of the Donbass and the landbriegd to Crimea, fortified it and is now just destroying the army of the Nazis. What overall they already did 2-3 times meanwhile. Ukraine was defeated a year ago. What we know got is the Nazis and their NATO master raping the dead corpse by sacrificing a whole generation of men for nothing and pumping billion of dollars into that burning shithole - what also burns down any future West Ukraine may have had, which is pretty much solely destroyed by NATO and their Nazis. It's not like Russia is burning them to the ground (what it easily could), the most damage is done by the gigantic debt the warmongering created.
