@lloads642 Doesn't matter. There are overall several commanders anyway and you let the one lead who is best at what you currently need, what changes over the course of a long operation. Nothing special.

Indeed. It is repairable, because it is a warning, still. They CAN destroy it, that you can't repair it and overall could just destroy it again as soon as you repair it. They were given another chance. The xy-th.

@ZwaneMakki Military worth of the attack was borderline zero. Even if they would have manage to take out the bridge the military could just use ships or the landroute without problem. Completely worthless and just a dumb escalation.

A few weeks repair for uch infrastructure is already terrible. Not compareable with for example a bridge. People need electricity and all, everything does, your whole economy, there is no way around that.

@seanniemeyer5437 Then EVERYTHING is a letitimate miltary target, if you argue like that. Slaughtering civilian will also have a massive impact on that plus moral and all. That's not how it works, though. This bridged is half a country away from the front. it's not like you can stop the advance and force the enemy to risky tactics or anything alike. Just putting everything on a landing ship and carry it over isn't a prob in the black sea. And overall: the frontline is north of crimea anyway, so the way from Russia to that frontline over the landbridge is shorter. It has zero tactical value and the strategical value isn't big either. And they killed seven people for that and on full purpose, because there is not excuse for that explosion to hit civilians - and even less to abuse an innocent man with no clue about it.

@hongry-life Nothing unusual. Remember Syria for example. Whenever it fits all the ISIS guys are civilians. Also ignored that most dead civlians today come from the air defense rockets (since these idiots still fire them inside cities) or they shoot down missile over the city - what of course does not make it vanish, but fall down onto the city... One video shows that well, when you got first a big dust cloud from the impact - then the warhead explodes. So it was shot down just to land right inside the city. Ukrop Nazis give a fuck about defending the city, only themselves.

@seanniemeyer5437 You really think they wouldn't and didn't try, hm? They are Nazis. They attack everything they can all the time, mainly civilians, since it's pretty much the only target they are halfway competent at killing.

@seanniemeyer5437 You miss the point and that on purpose. The military got no problem, since they got several other ways and Crimea itself got a a big military HQ there anyway, so it's not like when you cut off Crimea from Russia via the bridged, that you could storm Crimea, no chance for that, especially because Russia is still right next to it and today missile range - as shown again - has no problem to hit targets even at the western border of Ukraine and can of course also defend Crimea PLUS all the miltiary that is stationed there anyway. When it comes to the frontline, those are easier to reach witout Crimea anyway. The impact is close to zero. When it comes to hitting Kiev and Co, that's about military infrastructure and the support of it. The influence on the military capacities is massive while how many civilians died (and by the video proof that was mainly by intercepted rockets or even failing air defense, since the explosions are way too small or obviously from a crushing = intercepted missile) during these attacks? The truck bomb killed seven civilians. Which was just one explosion and since it is a truck you could pinpoint detonate it where you want, so the dead civilians were on purpose, not even talking about the driver they just tricked into it.
