It's the goal of all western propagand to rewrite history. Many don't even know that anymore. Many think Stalin = Hitler and that they were long time best buddies - ignoring, how many countries made pacts with Hitler and that Stalin KNEW, that you can't trust Hitler and mainly bought time with it. A few years more and we will have the story, that Hitler just defended us against the evil sowjets. Overall: that was kind of the idea of the west of that time, that Nazi germany would just march against the sowjets.

German media is pushing Navalny again, it's so disgusting but also ridiculous, how they try to make this nationalist criminals a big important opposition leader he never was. But we know this very well. They also loved to push Guaido and so many others.

@jamesmorrow1646 See, that's what I meant. There were many other pacts like that with other leaders. And Stalin knew, you can't trust Hitler at all. The SU WARNED both Poland and Finland for example. And the SU went into Poland when it had already been fallen to the Nazis. This alone saved many lives there. You don't get, what us germans would have done if the soviets hadn't stopped us...

@brahim119 It's worse. As today, the idea was, that the Nazis would ruin the sowiets and make them easy to pillage. 2.WW was kind of the most succesful proxy war, at least for the USA. For them it went very well. They had supported Hitler on his whole rise and partly even throughout the war. They joined the war, when it was clear, that the Nazis would not only lose, but the SU be so strong, that they could take over whole Europe while gettin rid of Nazi germany. USA did not join for moral reasons, not at all. After 2.WW, the SU (still a bleeding body with so many dead), wanted a peace treaty = all foreign armies just go back, germany would be reunited and a neutral, army less state (sounds a lot like the situation today in Ukraine, no?), but of course the west under new leadership denied that. When the USA put NUKES(!) into GERMANY it was clear, that there would be no peace, so the Warsaw pact was created and later the mall. All YEARS later after creation of NATO and the new US world order...

@ally11488 As if you would know anything about North Korea and its history - by the way also formed via an US genocide... 30.000t of Napalm. On CITIES. At home they sold that as some small intervention. German cities after 1945 looked like paradies in compariosn to the slaughter you got in North Korea. And the mass murderes still stand there, waiting for their chance... Or we can talk about South Korea, created by the USA by just ripping it out of Korea, installing a fascist puppet, that just commited brutal slaughters of tenthousands of people, calling them communits, all under US supervision. And that's just one of the many mountain high warcrimes of the United States AFTER 1945...
