@branislavpandur2270 Ukraine is losing the last 4-5 monthes, the only thin tha matters and that is life of soldiers and equipment. Massively. If you want to lose a war for sure, do it like that.

The drawback would be damage to the city when you take it back and threat to civilians, though those moved out. Overall it's not a good situation to fight with a river in your back, when you can have it in front of you as barrier. Ukraine could move in, but it's not like they decreased Russian ability to bomb them by any means. And not bombing bridges does not help them anymore at all - nor bombing the dam.

The contra for it would be, that you risk slaughter by the Nazis, what can be avoided by evacuating civilians. Other contry would be, that if they would march into Ukraine, it would cause a lot of destruction to it, since they are known for hiding inside cities, abusing them as cover, to take it back. But overall they hopely stop to attack the dam now.
