This did not work out, because Russia got nukes, just as China, and both made clear, that whatever NATO does, they will always go for th head of the snake first. This then led to all these proxy wars instead. That's also what Ukraine does not get. The whole point of its usefulness for western imperialism is, that it is NOT part of NATO, but just a meatshield and cannonfodder it can hide behind, attack Russia, while Russiy THANK GOD is not repeating in kind - yet. That's also why NATO simply CAN'T join the war openly. It would ENDLESSLY worsen its situation. Now Ukraine is sending in the meat, while everything else is NATO. Weapons, money, surveillance and so on. All this, while NATO sits there and is not getting attacked for that. If it joins, EVERYTHING is fair game. Those hypersonic missiles and the newest one with 5000km range and alike. Those are messages. Especially the last one can easily hit everything of NATO around Russia and you can't stop them. It's a warning or better, a reminder, that at some point, Russia will not hold back anymore... that them holding back isn't weakness, but reason and strength actually (because you can only hold back when you are strong, when you are weak, you have to use everything you can).

NATO is financing and arming the coup regime (pretty much as usual, did the same disgusting sh*t so often around the globe in the last century) and Russia intervened 2014 by saving Crimea from that an 2022 to stop it against the Donbass.
