Problem is, that Trump just says out loud what already is the case. First sell out of Ukraine to the west was directly after 2014 coup, long before any 'elections'. Second, way more brutal sellout was 2022, because guess what, all that 'help' from NATO never was free on top of just ruining Ukraine for no reason at all. Just as reminder: 2022 directly after the intervention, Russia would have been fine with simply still following Minsk 2 aggreements. Meanwhile Donbass is lost to Ukraine forever and much more plus those hundreds of billions in debt and the millions of citizens who fled (and will often never come back) and/or died. Zelesky meanwhile just filled his pockets with all this. He's a monster. Nothing else.

@ToeKnife166 Not really. Of course Russia got no problem with trading, never had, but this is not like what Zelensky and those before him did the whole time = selling out the country to fill their own pockets.
