People don't get that those color patches on the map aren't actual frontlines even less fortified. It's simply a very vague "area of control", what doesn't even mean that you got a defensed border there, it simply means, that inside the area the attacks of the enemy against you are increasing enormously. It's not hard to storm in there - it's just extremely dangerous and risky. Those lines on the map aren't some kind of wall and when you get over it, you are in and can do what you want. In contrary.

Outside of videogames, where you can just waste your armies and get a new one on the next map: in real life you only got one army from start to end and what is gone, is gone. Also: winning a map doesn't mean, you are closer to the final level. You have to continue to defend that map or it will quickly be gone already. So when you waste your army by conquering it...well...

@NLTops A counter offensive is no worth on its own. You have to actually reach a goal with it and that goal must be very worthwhile regartding the risks and losses. With the losses Ukraine already got, they would at least needed to conquer Kherson at this point, if not Mariupol. It's insane, that they wasted so much soldiers and equipment for almost nothing.

@NLTops Begging for NATO, begging for NATO equipment, begging for a whole new army, begging for NATO training, begging for endless billions of money - yeah, not desperate at all.

This is not a video game. Real war does not work like childs play.

Seems you gathered quite a fangruop of Nazi lovers here meanwhile. Interesting, but for sure more monetary worthwhile, eh? Just be careful, that you don't land on one of their kill lists when the whole shit show blows up.

So the thousands of soldiers Ukraine loses every weeks just die of what? Hunger? Thirst? Suicides? Stupidity? Ukraine is begging every months for a new army why exactly? NATO is training tenthousands of replacement soldiers for what exactly? Super invincible ultra Ukrop Nazis are not taking actual cities for what reason exactly?

@Lin.Do.n Ukraine had 4 full mobilisations since start of this. Russia has just started a 0.5 one, which isn't even there yet and Ukraine is still losing thousands of troops and billions in equipment every week.

@Elbuarto I mainlys see gore from the Ukrop Nazis and their lovers.

Funny the idea of people, that they think every colorful patch on the map is somehow a fortified position or anything. If Ukraine is so strong, why don't they actually storm the big cities, hm? And again: you lose a war when you got no army left, got nothing to do with territory, which CAN have use, but empty fields are not delivering any of this.

Kherson is a ~300k metropol. It's not compareable at all with the <20k ruins of Lyman. If Ukraine would be so super strong, they would take Kherson - or Odessa. Or do everything to defenf Bakhmut, instead of running into empty land to get shelled.

You guessed that Ukraine is batshit crazy and just sends all their soldiers into certain death?
1
Yeah, yeah, we know, when you follow Ukraine's numbers, they actually have a bigger army than they started with PLUS the thousands of vehicles and millions of weapons from NATO, while Russia has nothing left at all. Wonder why they don't just actually attack a valuable target and not just empty fields and ruins.
