  1. That's clear since start that they are not. With such losses even if you reach a goal it's a disaster. And what they are able to reach isn't even a worthwhile goal. With such losses you would have to take somethign like Mariupol - and even then it would still be terribly bad.

  2. For some fucked up reason, Ukrop tactic seems to be now to just rush in small groups - what is of course just a waste of life and equipment. A pincer is not when you just push in there. That would be like the try to cut something with two wet noodles. A pincer must be hard, resistant and strong to work. If you just send a small lightly armed troops in, that's just an easy target to destroy at best a distraction.

  3. What you mean with gentle? They don't want to make civilians suffer. They obliterate the Ukrainian military day by day with very few losses on their own side. That's pretty much the perfect way to fight a war.
