@iroquoisplissken3583 Well, overall the commentator is right in that way that the years following the disolving of the sowjet union were terrible for the Russian and many other ex-soviet people, though this was of course not because of McDonals, but thanks to brutal corruption of oligarchs and the west, succesfully robbing the people. It was Putin and co who then turned it around.

Ukrain's military already broke apart in 2014, when the illegal, violent coup ripped the country apart. The eatern part and Crimea of courser anyway, but even many other soldiers did not want to folllow that fucked up order to oppress the resistance against the coup with military violence The first wave of soldiers the coup regime send did not follow the orders, many fled or just switched sides. What followed was mainly the rise of Azow, Neonazis, who were fine with murder but not really good at warfare, what you could see at them failing to actually defeat Donbass and Luhansk. And after that mainly youngsters came in, who fell for that lie of "it's all against the Russians" and those who ere not Nazis like Azow, but of course quickly came in contact with Azow, would only not realise the truth after a while, if they are dumb - so again not really good soldiers. When Russia finally went in, eight years later, their obliterated most of the heavy weponry in the first few hours. That's why Selenskyj had to come up with his "Volkssturm" like Hitler in his bunker at the end of 2.WW, ordering to not let any male adult flee the country and everyone to get weapons and fight for him - even openinen prisons and arming criminals, what is simply insane.

The promises of the coup regime are worthless. There was Minsk 2 and even UN demanded, that Kiev should follow it. They did not care and instead did the complete opposite. THEY are the murderers. You got no clue what's going on in Ukraine since EIGHT YEARS. You can't let such a regime have any weapons they used to mass murder their own people. If you take all the Nazis and Neonazis and whatever you call them together, US intelligence sources talk about around 100k(!) and a good bunch of them are not just far right, but literal "kill all subhumans" Nazis. We should actually be glad, that Russia is stopping that, before it becomes even worse. So it would of course be better, if our US and NATO facists wouldn't have createad that scenario in the first place. Russia HATES to do this. If Putin would love to conquer Ukraine, he would have done that 20 years ago, at least in 2014 - BEFORE the coup or directly afterwards, when the coup regime instantaly started a murderous civil war. Didn't happen.
