Racism is big enough to have shown it's ugly face through the facade more than one time and give the easy reason: Those 'humanlike beings' in the middle east are not blue-eyed, blonde and civilized enough, obviously. And as disgusting as it is: that's indeed the reason - though overall, they also don't care for the blue-eyed and blondes, they only care for themselves. That's what 'evil' actually means. It's not "hahahahah, I'm evil and do bad things, muahahahaahh", it's "I don't care to sacrifice even the rest of the world for what I want".
