He very likely really believes, that his some heroic, holy warrior, a general, leading the troups of light against darkness.

  3. Was worth it for Crimea. The rest of Ukraine and I mean the whole rest, not only the part where Nazis troops run around and murder peopel with artillery and alike - not so much.

  4. Especially not in these days. Hell, even in days where it was only swords and alike, a bunch of knights would slaughter through a whole village of peasants with ease. Today? You got weapons systems which can kill you from dozens, hundreds, thousand km away or just be right above you without you being able to see them. And even something like a Javelin does not make you some invincible super soldier and it gives you ZERO surveillance.
