  4. Russia usese offensive defense as strategy = a heavily fortified, layered defense, from which it destroys the enemy army. Even the little movement you see are scoup units, nothing more. Good example is Bakhmut: while it fell, since the coup regime army was grinded down, Russia never went into the city. Their fotified lines are still east of it.
