They always and only hurt the regular citizens and that's their sole purpose. You use sanction to try pushing a country into chaos and rebellion. That's what they are for. They ARE warfare and will never be anything else.

Ukraine ist in the state of war since 2014. Russia went in to end it, after seven years of talking were just completely ignored by our fascistic west..

@shade9272 We are not in the times of castles and knights. Defending something is much harder than just destroying it these days. But yes, Putin did not lie a single second. It's about to destryo the Ukrainian military and the Nazis using it since eight years to slaughter Ukrainians. That's it. So , yes, they are not just carpet bombing the shit out of Ukraine. You mean the war in which Russia went in because they thought the CIA was trying to make it a failed state, than USA, Saudi Arahia and Pakistan created what we know as islamstic terrorism today, transporting extremist from all the world there, training and arming them to make Afghanistan a failed state, just to hurt the SU a little, what CIA and Co still brag about today? Mongoose1981 Most important part is: Afghanistan did not win the war. It was ruiend by the USA( - not the SU) who used it for their proxy war. So bringing up Afghanista actually tells, how NATO want to make Ukraine a failed state, too. And yes, we know that, that's clear since 2014.

@shade9272 No, it doesn't. You got clearly NOT CLUE of modern warfare, as little as you got a single clue of the situation in Ukraine. A modern problem would be to fight terroist who hide behind human shields. That's not about attacker/defender, that about people who give a fuck about commiting war crimes and those who care about human lives - and don't use civilians and civil infrastructure as shields and hideouts.

If Russia wants to blow up a plant, they would just blow up a plant. If Russia wants to cut electricity, it would cut electricity. Both did not happen.
