  1.  @Nerobyrne  Thing is, the engine they use can easily create you a 'playable' game within days - and easily a more fun, one. Promises were made, as long as they don't met those, they just distract from their lies. At least the single player part shouldn't be that much of a problem, right?

  2. People are like that. It's just a game, but look at Star Citizen. People threw hundred millions of dollars at it, and I still remember how "will likely be playable 2020" was an over-exaggerated joke. Meanwhile it's 2022 and they at least stopped to promise, that it will come out "this years for sure" - and instead mumble something about 2026 and alike...

Still love Bezos remark regarding live on Mars: "I tell people who dream about that, that they should love on the top of Mount Everest for a years first - which is much more habitable than Mars." Bezos is also a dreamer, a trekkie. As he explains, he was lucky enough to be able to live his dream and become rich and he could build up on all the infrastructure others had created. That's what he wants his space program to be, to be a part, the base of creating the infrastructure that brings humankind to space. Not Mars, space and that not "next year", but likely next century, so he does not even think that he will be still alive when his dream really comes true. Musk meanwhile is just doing his usual things: a rocket sized buck of emptry promises and selling stuff of others in ridiculous overhyped ways.
