@my3dviews Because Space X is just doing what has been done since decades? Boring Company is also quite fine at digging tunnels. What they can't deliver are the promises they made far beyond that. And colonizing Mars is nothing you can just copy/past from other people. Don't forget the absurd promises from Musk, a ticket to Mars for below 200k $ and such. A city for 1 millione people in 2 decades - and of course following his promises, we would already be on Mars already - and have robo taxis everywhere. Instead his cars can't even drive safely in a private tunnel his own company build.

It's probably your least problem anyway. Liked Bezos comment to the whole Mars thing: people who want to live on Mars should live on Mount Everest for a while first, because Mount Everest is still a paradies in comparison. Can take Blue Origin far more seriously, simply because they indeed work on possible things. Not on cartoon cities on Mars... We likely gonna need AI first, that manages robot armies to colonize Mars first and then maybe also built a bit for humans, too. But the idea to just terraform Mars with some nukes or just stomp some cities out of the ground, is ridiculous. That's an Alien 2 setting - and you don't need Aliens to make it such a disaster. Space is way worse than any alien...
