Movie was pretty stupid in general.
The whole plan of the scientiest was stupid.
The time diluted planet made zero sense and the only thing making less sense was the idea to land on it in the first place, starting with the first person they sent down there, who could simply do NOTHING in all the time, because even decades in normal space would only be some hours down there, so how even analyze it?).
The whole time travel thing is just made up fantasy and even if you accept it only makes sense with the utter nonsense that is the time diluted planet.
Also the idea alone to give humankind a new home next to giant black hole is utterly insane.
Only good part was, that the worm hole they use for space travel was no hole.
But even then: even if a worm whole exists, it would just obliterate you in every way possible. We talk about a power that just breaks space time, what you think would happen to pretty much everthing that IS taking place in just that space time?
It's like the idea to drive through a water tunnel that is created by a 100000 bar air stream. Yes, that air stream will push the water to the sides and create that tunnel you want, but guess what that pressure will do to you?
WIth the difference, that a worm hole is billion times worse.
Interstellar is a fantasy movie. A pretty odd one at that with way too much plot driven by dumb decisions and assholes.
