  1. Not sure what's suppossed to be embarrasing about an accident, especially when in action. There is not much talk about it, but armies lose stuff to accidents all the time, as does everything else. Was more emberassing, when the US Navy lost a much bigger ship right in its homeport also to fire.

  2.  @loganvanderwier8866  It was ~12.500t (Moskva) displacement vs 40.000t (USS Bonhomme Richard). Plus of course you simply got accidents all the time, way more than these two.
