@tommatokovic1018 The only thing not right is the idea people have by looking at a map with some lines and following 'news' about 'break throughs'. There is nothing to break through. These lines are no walls or fortified defenses or whatever. They are simply a line behind which the firepower targeted at you increases. Russia's army is not standing and such lines not even close. And that's why you can indeed drive in many kilometers behind such lines. There isn't anything that will just stop you - beside reason. Because it's absolutely not reasonable to do that, since the actual fact with the increased firepower still stands. That's why you get: a) BIG ADVANCES of the Ukro army. Because storming in like that is easy. b) BIG LOSSES of the Ukro army. Because storming in like that is stupid and suicidal.

@vladtheimpala1 You do get, that there is near to no military forces in the majority of Ukraine left, right? Russia is simply not going to conquere Ukraine, they don't want it. They didn't even want to get Donbass. If Putin had been all about conquering Ukraine, 2014 had looked very different.

Already is. It's insante to throw away so many lives for pretty much nothing.

It's easy when you got something mobile. You just drive there.

Even after so many years people think that Ukraine/NATO wouldn't be stupid enough to do something like that. It's hard to believe, how less fascists care about even the lives of their own soldiers.
2
How do you want to sustein anything, when your actual attack cripples you like that already?

Again, the whole way Russian strategy and tactic works isn't about defening that line on the map, the firepower stand way behind those lines so yes, it's actually very easy to rush in like that - and right in the kill zone of that fire power.

It would be easy to crush Ukraine, but this would cause a lot of unwanted death. Without NATO ruining itself, by pumping sheer endless billions into Ukraine, Ukraine would have fallen over a long time ago.

Why should they stop it? NATO is just slowly bleeding itself dry and that in a far better way than any real conflict with NATO could ever be.
