The focus on area is the stupid part. The focus must be on destroyed military equipment or lost soldiers. That's what warfare is about.

@Tonius126 Uh, no. There is simply limited energy on this planet beyond what comes from the sun (what we use via solar, water and wind power). Russia got the majority of gas reserves and many other resources on top of that and you can't just take something else. There isn't much left in general and of course the majority of the world wants that stuff, too, while they also hate the west for all its imperialism.
