It's said they still have around 150k soldiers left, plus what they further cut out of their population to sent in is cannonfodder. Yes, there is still quite some left.

They clearly attack at many positions at once, while the side fronts still stay the side fronts. Just rushing in is never a good idea and very risky and dangerous. Far better to take your time and lure the enemy into the position you want him in. Doesn't make a difference where you destroy the enemy, the only difference is, how much risk do you put your own army in. Going in is a higher riks than letting them come, pretty much always.

@ConkerVonZap Thing is, that doesn't change a thing, because in contrary to Ukraine, Russian doesn't need to move their forces around anymore with the build up. Sure, the Nazis can take away from Bakhmut, but that just worsens their posiotion there even further. When the intervention started in February, that push toward Kiev was something alike. It made the regime there focus on Kiev - making it much easier for Russia to push through agreat part of the Donbass up to the fortiefied lines. Of course the Kiev maneveure was extremly dangerous and risky for the troops there, that's why the let them retreat quickyly after, since a few thousand troops can't hold a position like that, would be a waste of lives and equipment. What we got now is a far less risky version of it.
