  1. The gag while there is mainly Wagner going into the city is, that the actual and much bigger army created that fortress around it and over whole Donbass. Yes, of course, if it would be all about Bakhmut and Russia just going in there, it would work to just crush the weak sides and encircle them. The thing is: the fight inside Bakhmut is the weak part, fhe strong parts ARE the flanks. If it would be easy to rush in there and just get rid of the artillery and so on, this would have happened alerady.
