@jdb47games There was nonne in Kiev. When it was clear that the Nazi regime is insane as NATO, there was of course a chance in strategy. There was no need to waste your troops over holding up a pinning operation which had done its job. Kharkiv was pointless territory to hold. That was obvious, because Russia gave a damn about even trying to build up any defensive line there. Giving up Kherson city was annoying, but with the Nazis and NATO going for destroying the dam to flood the city, there was no other choice than evacuating the civilians and after that there was no point to hold a disadvantaged position with such a massive river in your back, so they went a little south and made that disadvantage to an advantage. You don't get how war works. It's not about territory. That's what you take as you please when the enemy got no army left. Ukraine go no army left since a year meanwhile. Without NATO raping the country with detonating debt by pumping billion after billion into it, which it will never be able to pay back without completely selling out to our western fascists and with the Nazis just throwing the lives of a whole generation of men away, this would be over middle last year. And this would have been FAR better for western Ukraine. At this point, I'm not sure if there will be anything left. Not because Russian missiles, but what NATO and Nazis did to it.

They ARE on offensive - all the time - offensive doesn't mean, that you have to move frontlines. It simply means that you attack the enemy and they do that all the time. It's simply much less risky to grind down an enemy from strong defensive lines and if you can continue doing that without moving, just the better.
