  1. I actually welcome the more conservative character of the Legacy. I think with the sporty direction the Camry, Accord, etc. have gone, there’s a hole in the market for a softer, more comfortable family sedan with more restrained style that could appeal to a significant number of buyers, even if that’s not necessarily played out by the sales numbers. Could be a great alternative for a lot of disaffected longtime Camry owners. But don’t get me wrong - I’d love to see a more athletic GT version with the 2.4T and a manual. And it’s easy to see the Outback sells so much better.

  3. Andrew.Woolman I completely agree, but a lot of buyers out there, especially those who live in regions that experience four seasons, demand it.
