  1. The capacitive touch crap and downgraded interior materials are primarily in the name of cost cutting, right? If those actually translated to a lower MSRP than the Mk7/7.5, that’d be one thing. But it’s the fact that VW went this way for the interior and yet is charging MORE than the Mk7(.5) that kills me. Yes, I know there are performance improvements, etc, but even those aren’t worth living with this interior to me.
