  2. On one hand, I appreciate that Mazda gave us this at all, but on the other hand, I can’t help but think this was a missed opportunity. Personally I would have liked to see just a few more under the skin changes and handling upgrades to support the extra power. I think they could have made this slightly more athletic while maintaining the luxurious overall demeanor. But as Sarah said, perhaps that’s where the aftermarket will come in for this...

  4.  @anotherstar8125  Interesting idea...I like it! Only thing is I can’t imagine how expensive that would be to develop. Not to mention difficult to engineer to accommodate such a wide breadth of performance

  5. Thank you Sarah for not raking this car over the coals as dated and unimpressive. We’ve heard that all too many times. Does it fall short in certain areas? Sure. But I wish the Q50 got more appreciation to be honest.

  8. Far more cars, especially fun enthusiast cars, should be approached the way the Miata is, especially with EV’s on the horizon. If all you’re after is speed, just get an EV and be done with it. I really hope that makes consumers and automakers alike appreciate the Miata’s overall philosophy - experience over numbers.
