  1. Manual compact daily drivers for the win! Love driving my stick Mazda3 hatch, even here in downtown Seattle, which is literally perched on a hill. Doesn’t handle quite like the new Civics do (primarily bc torsion beam rear), but I much prefer the sound and power delivery of an NA 2.5 to a 1.5/1.6T personally, and I was willing to trade some handling and a couple mpg’s for that. And at Lake Washington C&C, it still gets a few looks and questions here and there.
