  1. Imo, Honda should be focusing less on something like this and more on upgrading the Si with a detuned version of the 2.0T. If the 2.0T is already pumping out ~300 hp in the Type R and ~250 hp in the Accord, then ~230 hp seems like a pretty conservative output level. That’s why I have a hard time buying their “reliability” argument with the 1.5T. Yeah, you get the LSD and the active dampers, but that’s just not enough to justify the upgrade over a Sport hatchback to me. Drop the 2.0T in and keep it a relative value to the GTI, then we’ll talk.
