One of those models that embodies the classic Toyota philosophy - simple and conservative aesthetics, spacious and usable ergonomic interior with physical controls, tried and true indestructible powertrain, and comfortable driving dynamics with no regard for sportiness. Refreshing to be honest considering how many SUV’s these days feel so pressured to project sporty/techy sex appeal for marketing purposes. I think maybe Toyota is starting to realize the value and appeal in that approach given newer models like the Venza and the Corolla Cross that embody a similar approach (minus the offroad ability)
