About cluster munitions, I would agree with you, only that Ukraine's treatment of prisoners of war indicates that just because the enemy can allow themselves to disavow the rules of war that we can too. Ukraine must adhere to the rules based world order for it to be welcomed to the European Union and to NATO. If Ukraine lowers its' standards it will lose the moral high ground. Humane treatment of prisoners is either a fundamental human right under international law or it is not. Using cluster munitions against an enemy does not uphold international law. That's my opinion (edited).
