  2. One way to do it is by looking at your hands in your dream. One way to accomplish this is by constantly looking at your hands during the day. If you do that for a while, you might do it spontaneously in your dream. The moment you do you notice your hands don't make sense, and (hopefully) realize you're asleep. Most people panic then and wake up. One way to stop that is to rub your hands together without looking at them. You can also practice this during the day.
