  1. I don't see any admission here. His job as a negotiator was not to call into question the reasons for Brexit but to protect the EU's interest in the negotiations. If he holds the same beliefs that gave rise to Brexit it is just a credit to his professionalism.

  2.  @user-ef4gf7rr9r  I don't see why he should. Recusing is something a judge would do, but as a negotiator his job was more that of a lawyer.
