  1. I think they should look at these monuments on a case-by-case basis, and use aesthetics as their guide.

  2. Afaik we never had any "Nazi monuments" in the Netherlands, but the Left is diligently working to get icons of our national heroes and culture torn down. If that is the price, then I'd prefer to have some of their monuments remain standing.
