The level of stupidity of the Greek government is just astounding. Also you would at least expect someone to announce this after informing the involved parties. Instead everyone gets the rug pulled out from under them. And now they expect the markets to wait for months to get some clarity. Helping Greece is like trying to help a heroin addict.

@MrSilver222 The borrowing is in a large part to roll over their current debt. In the mean time they have to balance their budget. They have to rein in their expenses regardless. Either they cut back to get the loan or they cut back because their simply isn't any money available to finance their expenditures. What the Greek population seems to want is to keep living like they do with minor sacrifices. That simply isn't going to happen, no one will be willing to lend them the money.
