  1. Boats should be towed back to Africa or else they get transported to a remote area where their asylum application will be processed. If they enter the country illegally they have no right to asylum. If they want to apply for asylum, they can do that outside Europe and wait there while the application gets processed. Similar measures like this have helped Australia curb their illegal immigration problem.  What the European commission proposes here will just encourage more migration.
