James Bond These rebels (and possibly foreign insurgents) are using violence to undermine the authority of the Ukrainian state, and as such the use of force by the Ukrainian state is perfectly justified. It are the rebels themselves then who are responsible for putting these civilians' lives in danger.

  2. James Bond Both Odessa and Mariupol only happened last month.I'm not even sure what you're referring to with Maidan. You didn't address my point either, a government has a legal monopoly on the use of force. The moment people start running around with AK47s taking over government buildings, a government can't tolerate this and has to send in the army. It's a logical consequence.
