"How dares he use our weaponization of the law against us!"

Losing Kherson pretty much closed the door on taking Odessa for the Russians.

In Harris' case it was two legs up.

@letsRegulateSociopaths If I were British I would prefer the latter over giving my country away to foreigners, but I don't think the premise is even true. I've read studies about the benefits of unfettered immigration and there doesn't seem to be an economic argument for it, people from third world countries cost a country money over their life time. Best approach is probably picking and choosing migrants with skills you need, like they do in the United Arab Emirates, and not letting them overstay their welcome.

Since trans women are men, I think you can simplify your question to why men in women's bathrooms are a problem. And I can see why women would feel unsafe with men in their bathrooms, even though most men are harmless, a small group of them are predators. You can also this with the prisons' populations, where an disproportionate number (per capita) of trans women are in prison for sex-related offenses.

The same people who ensured us that Biden is just fine, doing pushups and quoting Shakespeare when behind closed doors are now telling us that it is in fact Trump who is mentally declining.

I think Harris is just a bad candidate. Trump is just more likeable than her. Kamala couldn't carry a conversation with normal Americans if her life depended on it and she isn't very bright either. The only thing she has going for her now is that people don't really know her, and apparently the Democrat strategy is to keep it that way until after the election.

He could turn his empty threats into real action.

@HappyValleyDreamin George Bush started two disastrous wars and insituted an "extraordinary rendition program", covertly arrested people and flying them to countries with lax oversight and rules to interrogate them. And Biden handed over something 20 million women to the Taliban. Trump's presidency doesn't look so bad compared to those two.

The jury is selected from a pool of rabid Trump-haters.

More like the media desperately trying to spin whatever they can to hobble Reform's momentum.

Don't you find it questionable that he's accused of falsifying business records to "hide another crime", but that the prosecutor refuses to name this other crime, and only does this in his closing argument when the defense no longer has an opportunity to respond? I'm not a lawyer (not an American either) but to me that seems just downright kafkaesque

@Lpreilly72 You are kinda victim blaming here, though, and not really answering the question. Don't you find it questionable that the prosecutor obfuscates something that underpins his case until the very end? Shouldn't someone who represents the court play with an open hand? To me now it appears as though Donald Trump got prosecuted for a crime he only heard details of at the very end of his trial. Surely that is a violation of his due process rights or something? And doesn't the judge have some responsibility in ensuring a defended gets a fair trial as well?

First of, Scott Ritter is a clown. He has no special insight in what Russia will do or how the war will look 6 months from now. That, and Russian fanboys like yourself have been predicting Ukraine's imminent defeat for little under a year now and they've proven you wrong for just as long. The truth is that Ukrainians can keep this up as long as long as the West keeps supporting them, and I'm sure even you have realized by now that the West's support will just keep increasing.

Taken advantage off by having been offered loans with historic low interest rates?

I think it's custom in the US to refer to a former president as president. It's like a honorary title.

There are more lies being told about Trump by the media, than told by Trump himself. The Russia-gate thing, the Ukraine phone call etc. All of it fell flat and the media has quietly moved on, without any self-reflection or acknowledgement either. I think many Americans are now at a point that they just trust the media less.

I love that they confirmed the validity of it.

Using terms like "in the bag" doesn't really sound like you're interested in justice.
