After that, joint celebration of victory was held in Brest where the troops of both occupiers paraded together. Then Baltic states and Bessarabia/ Moldova occupations followed according to Stalin-Hitler agreement, when Wehrmacht occupied western neighbours states not disturbed in the east. NKVD and Gestapo cooperated in fighting resistance in the respective territories, until the very 22 June 1941.

  30. I agree Ukrainians are brave and intelligent as much as it can get, but I would say that despite nuclear weapons Russia is a regional power. The Soviet Union was thought to be a superpower (with Warsaw Pact).
