@akshaydasari5153 I find it ok I get the impact just think first film is better.

I can see for the two Terminator films though I think 1 is better. Gone With The Wind is what you would consider as old-fashioned maybe same with Casablanca. The Godfather yeah it may be long but one of the best ensemble cast I've seen. Alien I think is what you would call groundbreaking for the time. Top Gun maybe called a beloved 80's film, music is so commercial.

@davicardoso1000 I agree.

@andrewfantome4020 yes.

@brodaforlife Well I only prefer The Dark Knight out of familiarity. When I watched Joker I don't know it wasn't doing much for me apart from acting and music. The Batman I think is well-made but I don't class it as a masterpiece.

@TheImaginator972 I like Batman 89 and The Dark Knight not seen The Mask Of The Phantasm.
1
@andrewfantome4020 except one can argue the crow was more tragic I guess.
1
@SexyButCurious yeah.
1
@andrewfantome4020 I had low expectations of that film it's on my top 5 mcu films it's not perfect no.
1
@ericseitzler81 I like that one out of familiarity but I can see flaws with it.
1
@devinfaucette I agree about The Dark Knight Rises well at least on Bane.
1
@BeatRoot14 ok……
1
@AliasGreenLantern yeah that’s a good point about Batman Begins.
1
@Nickr3000 interesting because I like the film but see some problems with it.
1
@Nickr3000 ah ok I think I misunderstood post I do think she did well in some parts.

Yeah Ghostbusters and Back To The Future are beloved 80's films. I like both but I see more than one problem in Ghostbusters Winston Zeddemore is a bit sidelined in the story, the premise I don't think is that interesting the story maybe feels more incidental, Peter Venkman is a bit of a creep the stay puft marshmallow may come out of nowhere a bit but at least it's purposeful in a comical way. The song maybe a bit catchy, with that said I do agree it's creative with supernatural elements and Bill Murray is the success of the film. What came after were more lacklustre. Back To The Future now it's a time travel film so many may pick problems with it I agree with them. Yes the mother falling in love with her future son may have creepy factor in it but again used for comical purposes since like Ghostbusters it's a comedy. I do find Raiders Of The Lost Ark well-madeI see less nitpicking with it but can see a point there. Again with any Lotr films if one had read the book before you will be more picky but I think all are good films 3rd one I do get the whole too many endings aspect. The Dark Knight is well-done but maybe the whole Heath Ledger's joker elements overshadow the flaws I can see problems in the film but that's just me. I see less problems with Fight Club and Pulp Fiction apart from those who are bothered by the violence but I like the the films. I mean yeah I agree on certain aspects on Tarantino's style but it's a slightly different subject. For The Empire Strikes Back I do see it as a masterpiece and probably better made than others in original trilogy and a more groundbreaking Star Wars film than all. I mean I do think Lando as a character his redemption comes a bit quick in story and essentially is another Han Solo character in ROTJ. The only thing I would complain about The Matrix is maybe having Keanu Reeves in the title role which again there may be a point. I see more problems with Avengers Endgame but I do find mcu films problematic I do like some however it's just I see that in a lot of them.
1
@Andrew Quick That's interesting unless if one is not into time travel then I get that.
1
@nyxknight7555 again if one has read the books then maybe more nitpicking may be done.
1
@NewhamMatt apart from being a tad long maybe.
1
@Kishore-tv2hn again maybe pacing is a problem some people have.
1
@freddiemercury2075 I will rephrase that some people may find it a problem the pacing.
1
@aussieman3021 for me Mcu is a mixed bag so I will accept criticism on Captain Marvel thought it was awful. I do think Thor The Dark was terrible but I can accept Tom Hiddleston as Loki is somewhat of a highlight for the film. Captain America The First Avenger I find that bad but 1st act I find not too bad. I found the Incredible Hulk disappointing. Avengers Age Of Ultron I find terrible also but not big on the Avengers films.
1
@aussieman3021 I meant mixed bag for me but I agree on theory.
1
@Humans and Society Again The Shawshank Redemption could just be a question of pacing maybe. Not really into John Wick films
1
@CitizenWartres not sure I would call The Social Network or Mad Max Fury Road masterpieces though I liked them. I do like others I would probably call The Godfather a masterpiece. Goodfellas was probably groundbreaking also but in it's own way. Taxi Driver I like but I do think it's a weird film especially first viewing.
1
@CitizenWartres I think yeah Fury Road does well in the action elements. It's the word masterpiece I've been seeing that a lot when describing modern films that it's become a bit overused. The Social Network it's well made and acted I guess but Zuckerberg stuff I don't think is interesting.

@tianapitesr8553 hmmm it's one of those times where I think adaptation is better.
