  1.  @jonathanwright8025 Steven Spielberg also directed Poltergeist he wrote the story but might have taken more creative directorial duties than Tobe Hooper, he may done some directing too in The Goonies which I think he wrote the story for and he directed a scene in Star Wars Episode lll: Revenge Of The Sith.
