@Tim Macone even though I find it slightly overrated I agree about the description of the scene.

@re11o The problem is we've been having a lot of Batman content during the last few years so I think it's a bit dull. I wasn't even into The Batman well-made yes only performances I can praise are Paul Dano as The Riddler even though it's a small role and Jeffrey Wright as Detective Gordon. I found it hyped due to it being a Batman film again.
3
@Corey Rattliff yeah it's a funny one.
3
@Rosewolf29 I will say he's the best from what I've seen from Joker portrayals.
2
@JSSTyger Hmmmm good point.
2
@Austin Mwiinga the thing is I missed a few seconds first time I saw it. I liked it but man it's not a masterpiece.
2
@jonathanmartin8113 yeah....
2
@dariuschisholm7317 yeah they are different I prefer that over to other due to familiarity.
2
@nerdtube8194 I thought since it was a slow beginning I thought Is this going to be pretentious? I get the whole horror elements and Se7en influences and Zodiac Killer elements,but found it hyped and some characters I thought were clichéd.
2
@franciscs1604 different films.
1
@tyree lindee nah Shang Chi what was all that about? and Spiderman No Way Home please people are so arrogant about this film.
1
@Reeupmvp sorry misread comment Homecoming I found ok. Yes I guess for beginning of Shang Chi and The Legend Of The Ten Rings it was well-made I just had difficulties with story.
1
@example 2844 I agree with the music.
1
@bennyk9287 yes interesting point, though Black Panther is in my top 5 MCU films not even a big fan of franchise. I like all 3.
1
@OneDuckForSixPeople Hence why I said interesting point from my comment.
1
@williamanthony9787 I concur with that.
1
@Arthur Guillen The Dark Knight though I think it may have been hyped in it's own way. The Dark Knight Rises I find underwhelming. Unbreakable I think it's a good premise though maybe the plot twist ending I think it became an M Night Shyamalan trait. Days Of Future Past I wasn't sure of. X2 I find watchable. Blade I like intro and some ideas. Winter Soldier I found watchable. Man Of Steel wasn't for me.
1
@Mr Ace yeah it looks fake.
1
@James Missed bits of beginning when I first saw it.
1
@James-gj8rn cannot comnent on Mark Hamill one that much since only seen bits of animated series as a kid.
1
@Rosewolf29 well at that point I think Jack Nicholson was typecast so role fitted him. I think Jared Leto one wasn't bad it's execution of Suicide Squad's story I have heard rumours of method acting for role even methodier than Ledger's one. Cesar Romero one that speaks for itself. I didn't mind Joaquin Phoenix one the film is well-made but that's it.
1
@Rosewolf29 Yes I know that scene was improvised. I agree about Jared Leto. I mean I like The Dark Knight but I think the Joker stuff overshadows the rest of the story.
1
@Rosewolf29 I get that I’m saying maybe there was hype with film due to Heath Ledger’s death.
1
@vanplq8841 ?
1
@vanplq8841 I think if you're referring to Hannibal Lecter not sure which film with character that he is in that you referring to again. Well based on your picture maybe The Silence Of The Lambs since it's most iconic film of franchise both that and The Dark Knight are very different, so I mean The Dark Knight may be overrated because Heath Ledger's Joker is what drives the success of the film and everything else in film is overshadowed.
1
@vanplq8841 Some MCU films are shit not all. Thor The Dark World might be one Avengers Age Of Ultron, Captain America The First Avenger and Captain Marvel are those also I think. Which is overrated though The Silence Of The Lambs or The Dark Knight? I don't follow.
1
@vanplq8841 ok I thought you said it was overrated also I know where my confusion came from.
1
@vanplq8841 For The MCU films I agree with point.
1
@vanplq8841 out of curiosity which of the 5 are barely watchable?
1
@themanwithnoname9752 Well Pacino I find became repetitive in his own way. I mean going back to Nicholson his Oscar win for One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest might have added more gravitas. I still like the film it's one of the best films with an ensemble that and The Godfather. The Shining though that's well-made he was over the top I think. I think as well that's when the typecast thing happened. Hopkins and Hoffman are different I think Hopkins became a bit typecast after The Silence Of The Lambs.
1
PNW-PsilocybeJedi I'm sorry those from the late 2010's and early 2020's are so hyped.
1
@Merc_ig it's different I mean I can only prefer that out of familiarity.
1
@errwhattheflip it's meant to be inspired by Heat.
1
I'm gonna be self centered about this I prefer The Dark Knight and Batman over The Batman. No way that these two films are perfect one is dated and the other has plotholes, which is overshadowed by one element they have their problems but why make another when I'm in my 30's? It was overrated. Most of MCU films are overrated Black Panther is in my top 5 MCU films though. It's the same with Logan well filmed but I don't know the Wolverine was forgettable. Deadpool I liked. X-men 2 United is ok. Watchmen I like but maybe ending is questionable.
1
@franciscs1604 neither are that great.
1
@liebertjohann8524 there are worse yes but I found it a bit hyped.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 I find it slightly.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 sorry slightly overrated it's well-made some performances I like e.g Paul Dano as The Riddler and Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 I mean I thought John Turturro's character was the most clichéd character in story. I mean I didn't mind Robert Pattinson as Batman and Bruce Wayne. Zoe Kravitz was ok ad Catwoman. The thing with Andy Serkis as Alfred and Colin Farrell as The Penguin it's just their roles were minimal in story. I liked Paul Dano as The Riddler even though his role was small in story too. Yes that reveal I thought it was Two Face due to messed up face but laugh gave it away so it was The Joker yeah........
1
@dariuschisholm7317 I prefer that one out of familiarity but in a way it was hyped also.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 well it got more hyped when Heath Ledger died.
1
@NoirFan84 I can only say I prefer The Dark Knight over The Batman due to familiarity.
1
@m0nsterman902 sigh it was well filmed but still hyped.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 I can see some similarities.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 The Dark Knight or a lot of previous Batman scores.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 I find Danny Elfman ones more iconic than what came after. The Dark Knight trilogy ones are a bit forgettable.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 The Danny Elfman ones are more iconic even a stupid film like Justice League borrowed sample of score from 1989 version when Ben Affleck's Batman first appeared in it.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 yeah he did the first two spiderman scores too.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 well I was repeating what you were saying which I got a bit confused by your comment preceding it.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 your first comment about Danny Elfman scoring Spiderman films first two I was repeating what you were saying you replied I know. I got confused a bit with your second answer but I was probably missing your initial point from your first comment about Elfman.
1
@nerdtube8194 yeah I'm a bit puzzled too.
1
@michaelpanuccio756 I thought it was hyped but it's not one of the worst.
1
@michaelpanuccio756 that's interesting.
1
@jonathanmartin8113 I understand points I think Heath Ledger's death hyped the film even more.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 that's interesting because I think it has plotholes, but again I don't think The Dark Knight is perfect either and The Dark Knight Rises is the weakest I think.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 it's very similar I think.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 the story of The Dark Knight Rises is very similar to Batman Begins.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 Bane voice I'm not sure on but performance is good and Talia Al Ghul has the same motivation as her dad.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 yeah but it's still similar I think.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 I don’t understand.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 you said ion see it on your comment preceding mine did you mean I don't see it?
1
@dariuschisholm7317 well I can only assume what you said.
1
@dariuschisholm7317 I get it now.
1
@madman00774 Maybe, Top Gun Maverick comes second.
1
@madman00774 I felt it was hyped I thought it was respectful to Val Kilmer in the scenes he was in. The rest I thought was derivative. To be fair yes films now are mostly overblown with superhero stuff especially since it's biggest franchise but not all have been bad counting MCU and other superhero films counting.
1
@madman00774 it's only my opinion though. For the record I have some clues because I have made some films student films which is a similar process to feature films. I think it's a bit easy to say all MCU are shit just because they are the biggest franchise out there. There is truth that yeah that some are bad.
1
Yes the music in nightclub I liked.
