@tianapitesr8553 I would put Raiders Of The Lost Ark above other 2 since the first 3 were released in the 80s.

Yes I do wonder if people are blinded by the nostalgia of Ghostbusters? I know it's a beloved one from that decade along with Back To The Future. I think Ghostbusters I think is dated yes the success lies with Bill Murray's performance and the comedy style mixed with the supernatural is interesting. There are I think a few problems with side characters such as Winston's role in story and Sigourney Weaver's character. Back To The Future the only nitpicking would be the time travel stuff I guess if one sees it one way but it's a comedy adventure so it's enjoyable. The Goonies I didn't get as a kid but now I understand why it's discussed. The John Hughes films yes they were groundbreaking I mean The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off especially. Sixteen Candles I thought was ok Die Hard is certainly a landmark in action films and Top Gun I think is well done but is it’s own thing. E.T The Extra Terrestrial is iconic. The honorable mention The Lost Boys one of the 80st films I've seen along with The Terminator another time travel vehicle though not discussed on the list. Stand By Me a decent adaptation and Flashdance is it’s own thing. Say Anything and Risky Business again their own thing.

@jasonroussel9679 though I think if there were nitpicking to do the time travel paradox is a bit weird and the special effects are a bit wonky.
