My elderly parents are frightened to death over all this. We can't clam them down. We got them a phone to be able to keep in touch. They have no real idea on tech matters. We can only advise them to turn off their phone (if they can figure out how) (and then be able to turn it back on). They are both also disabled and struggle with these things. Bloody disgraceful to put anyone elderly over this trivial matter. Anyone would think some one was going to drop some sort of nasty device on us (probably deservedly so).
