  2. The fly in the ointment in your analysis (I hope) is that both Putin snd his propagandists stipulate emphatically that they're negotiating from a position of strength and in the driver's seat. That all the goals of the "SMO" must be achieved or no deal. That they can dictate the terms. Or as on yesterday's propaganda show that it would be Russia achieving the breakthrough in 6 months for total victory if no negotiated peace. At least Trump has said he's aware of Russia's economic plight. I still say little bully Putin will regret crossing big bully Trump.
