It is not just Trump that is to blame, though he certainly has to accept responsibility for a large part of the loss with his backing of election deniers and his attempt to overthrow democracy. The Republicans need to stop pandering to there donors and adopt policies that the majority of Americans support. Health care, women's rights, veteran support, back law enforcement, climate change, democracy, LBGTQ+ rights etc. If it wasn't for Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression they would never win another election. And they know it.
