  13.  @jonahharlet3013  Good, you know the difference. So if the debt is $21-23 trillion why isn't the US insolvent? Because it keeps borrowing. The not so secret trick is to reduce or eliminate the deficit. This can not be done with tax cuts, corporations not paying tax, subsidies to oil companies etc. By increasing the tax income the government will have money to spend with increasing the debt. Problem solved, you should be happy.

  17.  @toomuch8232  Were do you get the rate of 15% from? Does it include tax deductions for work related expenses? Have you done a cost benefit analysis to see whether this will increase or decrease the tax paid to federal government and the subsequent consequences. Why do you think it is fair for a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a worker on minimum wage? Do you understand the sliding scale of taxation rates?
