@ChristaFree You may be older, but it is never to late to learn. There has never been a communist democracy. The US is a constitutional republic which relies on democracy to elect its leaders.

@bogdanpopescu1401 I am a Labor supporter but Morrison did a great job in protecting Australia from Covid. He didn't make it up as he went along, rather he relied upon the 'the experts' to guide him. The world is far more complex than when Aristotle and even Churchill were alive. But you are correct on one level if the politicians listen to the wrong people as we saw what happened in the US during Covid, then the results can be disastrous.
