There are good and bad teachers, just like any work force. But the vast majority of teachers I know are dedicated professionals that work above the call of duty. They work long hours out of school hours and especially in primary schools spend their own money to make up for the short falls in government funding. They are continually expected to perform more and more duties outside of the class room. No wonder they are exhausted by week 9 or 10 of term. I believe teachers are well paid, so the answer is not necessarily more money, but a reduction in work load. This would be the best chance of increasing student outcomes

@oldnutta7611 But are you dealing with 30 different individuals on a constant basis or up to 150 as in secondary schools, (then their parents), who have a variety of differing issues and are you are being held responsible for their outcomes? Does your industry have mass resignations because of stress? Do you have empathy for people in a different position than you? If not go talk to some teachers, but mainly listen.

@ZELJKO472 We found out that wasn't true when schools were closed because of covid.

Anyone sacked for being unvaccinated made that choice for themselves. Often based on misinformation.

@ZELJKO472 I don't know but why is it in the US that the unvaccinated have a higher death rate from covid than the vaccinated? Why is it that death rates are higher in the red states than the blue states?

@ZELJKO472 So just moving on with responding to questions?
