But imagine if Trump put policies into place after covid got into the US to reduce the spread of the virus (like what happened in the rest of the world) then he wouldn't have overseen the worst outbreak in the world and seen a nett loss of jobs.

  13.  @federalistpapers4523  Lets do the maths shall we. You claimed 'Current US inflation is up 17.9%. US inflation 2017-2020 was less than 3.2% ALL 4 years!' The current inflation rate is 3.1%. If it increased at 17.9% from 2020 it would be 3.6%. What is in error? My reading comprehension or your maths?

Even you seem to acknowledge that what happed in 2016 was due to the 7th best president. The debt increase from 2017-2020 was $7.9b at a rate of $1.98b per year. Given that the 14th best president debt count didn't start until 2021, the debt has risen $5.9b or $1.97b per year. Not a significant difference I will grant you, but only the 45th best president promised to eliminate the debt and the deficit. By the way the debt to GDP ratio went up under the 45th best president but has decreased under the 14th best president,

Redoing the maths it appears you are right, the debt is going up faster under the 14th best president as compared with the 45th best president. Still two important caveats come into play. The 45th best president promised to eliminate both the deficit and debt. Also under the 14th best president the debt v the GDP is decreasing.
