@billewilde1 He served a few years in the military and then was a part time host on Fox. Compare his record to any other Defence Secretary and then tell me he is qualified.

@Edward-op3yc A sycophant will never criticise his master. Can you find one time that Hegesth criticised Trump in the last few years? Trump forgives people like Hegseth, Graham, Cruz, Rubio after their rescind their criticism because he now owns them. Why was Hegseth the best white man for the job?

@Edward-op3yc Hegseth has a history of alcohol abuse. So much so he said he would give up drinking. He has paid of of a woman that accused him of sexual assault. Would a person like that normally get a security clearance?

@billewilde1 Hegseth served in combat as a junior officer and his highest rank after combat was a major. Hardly a senior officer. Please have at a look at the two men's military records. You will see Austin just wasn't given the position of Defence Secretary. He was extremely qualified as a leader of men in combat and held many many senior positions within the Armed forces for decades. Why was Hegseth the best qualified white man for the job?

@clownshoesyo3059 After ensuring that US does not have enough flight controllers,(leading to the many crashes so far in just 4 weeks.) he sacked those that were responsible for looking after the nuclear arsenal, he know has sacked those are fighting bird flu. The man is a fool.

@marygraybeal383 So because they are black he is ensuring that some of best engineers in the country are less likely to be in the military. DEI does not mean that unqualified people are hired. It is aimed at restoring justice to groups of people that traditionally weren't hired because they where not white men. It also ensures that workforces have the same diversity as America.

@lisag-mh5rc No is denying he did those things, but so did thousands of other Americans? Why is the most suited for the job, over those veterans, or those that did even more. Compare his qualifications for the job over the last Secretary of Defence, or any Secretary of Defence for that matter.
